• Very cool application, high geek factor

• build you own PBX at home

• soft DSPs (codecs) are problematic

• network traffic can cause problems

• with the proper board (more expensive hardware DSPs) it works properly.

• Simpler, cheap, wireless phones work just as well.

• Difficulties depend on complexity
